We are one of the premier 18 hole golf courses in the Scottish Borders and are located just off the A7 some 2 miles north of Galashiels which is the hub of the Borders. We are 45 mins drive from Edinburgh and only a 5 minute taxi ride from the Galashiels train station.
Here at Torwoodlee Golf Club, you and your friends can have the perfect golfing experience. This is an ideal destination for golfers of all levels who want to play and at the same time take in the breathtaking scenery of our course and beyond.
Visitors and Golfing Societies will be given a warm welcome on arrival by our clubhouse team who will look after all your food and drink requirements as well as help you throughout your visit.
Our catering and hospitality is renowned from within the Scottish Borders and further a field. Visitors from throughout Britain and the rest of the world are most welcome to come and play our beautiful course.
Torwoodlee was the most visited course in the Former Visit Scotland “Freedom of the Fairways” Scheme 2011 , 2012 , 2013, 2014 & 2015 before the scheme expired in 2015.
